Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of six pharmacies across London and Surrey, demonstrating demand from independent buyers for quality settings.
Ashford Lodge in Ashford, Surrey, which dispenses an average of 4,400 items per month, has been sold to local operator, Tahir Hussain.
Pharmacare in Richmond, Surrey, which dispenses an average of 5,679 items per month, has been sold to local operator, Akhil Shah.
Eagercare (The Pharmacy) in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, which dispenses an average of 1,650 items per month, has been sold to first-time buyer, Rifqa Jibara.
Barkers in Tooting, South London, which dispenses an average of 12,082 items per month, has been sold to expanding operator, Pearl Chemists Limited, which runs a number of pharmacies in the area.
Hayes End Pharmacy in Middlesex, which dispenses an average of 4,400 items per month, has been sold to first-time buyer, Jiwan Gurung.
Regionchoice in Stepney, East London, which dispenses an average of 6,506 items per month, has been sold to Greenlight Pharmacy group.
The transactions were handled by Mark Page and Ben Osborne at Christie & Co.
Mark Page, Director – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “Interestingly, these pharmacies were all sold to independents, showing that the independent market remains as buoyant as ever, with demand more than equalling supply. This bodes well as we end 2023 and look positively at the buyer/seller status quo for the year ahead.”
The pharmacies were sold for an undisclosed price.
