Snap Fitness is preparing to open an eye-catching new club on Gray’s Inn Road, Chancery Lane, London next week, setting a new benchmark for the UK’s 24/7 gym sector.
The 12,000 sq ft club is being launched by multi-site Snap Fitness franchisee Peter Dhillon and will be his seventh Snap Fitness location. Showcasing the new generation of Snap Fitness clubs, the Chancery Lane site moves beyond the traditional low-touch 24-hour gym model by bringing together traditional gym training with modality group training, recovery and wellbeing in a single, always-on environment.
Speaking about the opening, Dhillon said: “The club is designed to give members a completely different 24/7 gym experience. From Reformer Pilates and group cycling to strength training and dedicated recovery facilities, everything has been created to support a wide range of member needs. Whether someone prefers to train at 6am or midnight, they will have access to the same premium facilities and a supportive environment to train, recover and progress.”
Kevin Yates, CEO of Snap Fitness EMEA, added: “Chancery Lane showcases the future for Snap Fitness and elevating the 24/7 gym sector. We are showing that round-the-clock access and premium, multi-modality experiences can be delivered without the usual premium price tag. This site demonstrates how we’re taking the category to a new level to create a genuine wellbeing destination, not just gym access.”
Designed around a high-spec, multi-modality training and recovery offer, the club will feature:
Extensive gym floor with cardio, free-weights and strength training zones equipped with premium kit from Life Fitness, Hammer Strength and other leading suppliers
Modality group training with Reformer Pilates, offering eight reformer beds with 24-hour access, supported by more than 800 on-demand classes, as well as group cycling
A dedicated recovery lounge with compression boots, massage chairs and massage guns
Contrast therapy featuring infrared saunas and a cold shower
Over 40 instructor-led group exercise classes per week
A complimentary towel service for all members

The new club will create more than 10 full-and part-time jobs, including roles for group exercise instructors, Reformer Pilates instructors and personal trainers, and has been equipped in partnership with leading fitness and wellbeing suppliers including Life Fitness, Escape Fitness, Booty Builder, Physical Company, Wattbike, InBody, Therabody and Sunlighten.
Chancery Lane will showcase how Snap Fitness is evolving the 24/7 gym category to meet growing demand for holistic wellbeing. By combining strength and conditioning, boutique-style studios, recovery and digital-led programming under one roof, the new format gives members a variety of ways to train, recover and engage with their health.
