Wembley Park – London’s most exciting new neighbourhood – has come alive to the beat of Bollywood with a spectacular flash mob dance performance to mark the start of Diwali 2022.
Crowds gathered as more than 70 performers in brightly coloured outfits from Bollywood Dance School took to the iconic Olympic Way to wish the world Happy Diwali from Wembley Park.
Sony Music India filled the North West London neighbourhood with sound as a cute lone dancer kicked off the surprise performance. Other performers quickly joined in, dancing to a range of contemporary Bollywood, Punjabi, Garba, Telugu and Tamil music.

Wembley Park has already hosted a joyous Diwali celebration. At the start of October, residents, visitors and local performers enjoyed a day of music, dancing and drumming, culminating in a rousing parade through the neighbourhood. Now Wembley Park has come alive with colour, music and dance once more, thanks to the exhilarating flash mob performance.
