Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is bringing back its much-loved Santa’s HQ experience for 2025, inviting children to step inside a magical, interactive workshop where they can help him prepare for the big day.
Straight from Lapland, this year’s HQ will once again transform the centre into Santa’s bustling workshop, filled with sparkling Christmas trees, letters stacked high on sorting shelves and plenty of festive fun for little ones to enjoy.
On arrival, Santa’s helpers in Surrey Quays will receive a special Elf-in-Training high-vis vest and hard hat, before joining the jolly team for their Elf & Safety briefing and warm-up “Wake and Shake” session. They will then meet Head Elf Suzie Sprinkles, who will guide them through a series of hands-on festive tasks, including:
Pass the Presents – helping Santa pack and stack gifts into his sack
Sort the Mail – organising the Naughty and Nice letters into the right boxes
Sneaking Practice – learning how elves move quietly on Christmas Eve
Musical Santa Statues – a festive freeze-frame challenge
Surrey Quays will also host SEND sessions this year – quieter, calmer morning workshops designed for children who may benefit from a gentler experience.
Santa’s HQ is free to visit with no need to book in advance. It is open 11am – 1pm and 1:30pm – 4pm between Friday 12th December – Wednesday 24th December.
