This Christmas, Wandsworth Council invites you to experience the enchanting world of Pinocchio live on stage at the Wandsworth Civic Suite. Following last year’s magical series of shows, everyone’s favourite local pantomime in town is back for 2025 – and it’s better than ever!
Join Pinocchio, the mischievous wooden puppet, on his whirlwind adventure as he discovers the importance of honesty, courage, and friendship. Packed with laughter, music, dancing, and plenty of festive cheer, this is a show the whole family will love.
As part of Wandsworth Council’s commitment to making the arts accessible to all, this year’s pantomime includes two relaxed performances on 14th and 20th of December.
These relaxed shows are designed for anyone who may benefit from a more informal theatre environment, including those with sensory sensitivities, autism, Tourette’s, ADHD, anxiety, or other sensory processing needs.
Audiences can expect:
Chill Out Room – a quiet space available before and during the performance
Meet the Cast – calm pre-show nerves with the chance to meet the performers and learn about their characters
Reduced Lighting & Special Effects – gentler visual effects and low house lights throughout
Freedom to Move – a relaxed attitude to audience noise and movement
Familiarisation Visits – opportunities to visit the auditorium ahead of the show
Wandsworth Council’s Access for All scheme ensures that everyone can enjoy live theatre this Christmas. Eligible members can purchase pantomime tickets for just £3. If you’re not yet a member – or know someone who might benefit – you can apply for Access for All membership online.
Ian Mitchell, CEO of Enable says:
“We’re thrilled to be bringing the magic of pantomime back to Wandsworth this Christmas. Pinocchio is a story that celebrates honesty, friendship and courage, values that we hope will resonate with audiences of all ages.
Our relaxed performances and Access for All scheme mean that everyone has the chance to enjoy this festive tradition, and we can’t wait to welcome families and friends to share the joy of live theatre together.”
