Battersea Park is set to come alive again this summer with a lineup of community focused events as part of this year’s Summer in Battersea Park series, run by Enable and Wandsworth Council. The family friendly fun includes one of the park’s most popular festivities – Battersea Park Dog Show – which returns on Saturday 12th July. In addition to this, 2025 sees the launch of Wandsworth Family Pride, an exciting and inclusive event set to take place on Saturday 28th June.
Wandsworth Family Pride returns, promising a joyful and inclusive celebration for the SW London LGBTQ+ community, including families, friends and allies. The day includes a wide range of entertainment, such as live music and performances, community stalls, fairground rides and soft play for the little ones. All activities are free and unticketed, ensuring everyone can take part in the celebration.
Back by popular demand, Battersea Park Dog Show returns on Saturday 12th July, where the park will see dog lovers from across the city bring their canine friends to compete in a range of fun competitions, all for a chance to win the coveted prize of Best in Show. Participants can register on the day for a variety of categories, including Golden Oldie, Best Trick, and Playful Pup. Entry is simple – just turn up and sign up! Full timings will be announced soon. All dogs are welcome to take part – not just pedigrees – so come along and join the fun.
Alongside these well-loved events, the Summer In … series is also set to host London Borough of Culture Celebration Day (29th June), Wandsworth Armed Forces Day (12th July), Wimbledon Finals Live Screenings (12th-13th July), Our Earth in Space (13th July) and the Street Food Garden, which will run on every event day throughout the summer.
