Long summer evenings, a blanket on the grass and a big screen & all your friends, family, first dates and work pals — Vauxhall Summer Screens is back this July with four nights of free outdoor film in the heart of South London.

Every Tuesday in July, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens becomes an open-air cinema where Londoners can settle in for a relaxed evening of film, food and good company. The 2026 programme brings together a mix of crowd-pleasers and cult favourites, starting with the animated adventure Zootropolis, followed by the beloved Jamaican bobsled classic Cool Runnings, the endlessly quotable Clueless and finishing with the ABBA-fuelled musical Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Films begin at 7pm, with visitors free to arrive earlier to claim a good patch of grass and enjoy the gardens as the evening unfolds. A selection of food traders and bar vendors will be on site throughout the night.

Now firmly part of the local summer calendar, Summer Screens draws residents, workers and visitors into the gardens for simple, sociable evenings built around great films and one of London’s most historic outdoor spaces.
