Sziget 2026 kicks off a new chapter with a heavyweight first drop, welcoming Twenty One Pilots, Florence + The Machine, Lewis Capaldi and breakout star SOMBR, to lead the charge for next year’s Island of Freedom takeover. They join Underworld, Tash Sultana, Biffy Clyro, Dijon, bbno$, Dom Dolla and more, as Budapest’s Óbuda Island gears up for five sun-drenched days of festival escapism from 11–15 August 2026.
This first wave offers a curated hit of global names wrapped in Sziget’s trademark festival-holiday atmosphere; where high-octane live shows sit alongside circus, theatre, art and the unexpected.
THE LINE UP
Twenty One Pilots bring their explosive live energy to one of their most-requested European stops, while Florence + The Machine return in full force with new album Everybody Scream. Lewis Capaldi makes his long-awaited comeback on the Main Stage, SOMBR delivers his earworm indie anthems, and electronic pioneers Underworld touch down for their first Sziget show in over 20 years. They’re joined by the genre-hopping Tash Sultana, viral rap disruptor bbno$, the new Aurora x Tom Rowlands project TOMORA, rock titans Biffy Clyro, US singer-songwriter Dijon, German indie favourites Giant Rooks and a stacked electronic programme featuring Dom Dolla, Joris Voorn, Pan-Pot, Sim0ne and Jazzy. UK punk energy arrives via Bad Nerves, Lambrini Girls and ALT BLK ERA, while Hungarian talents Makrohang, Sisi and Elefánt open the local chapter.
Beyond the music, Sziget 2026 promises its signature world-within-a-world: circus, performance art, cultural spaces, installations and hidden corners that turn Óbuda Island into a free-wheeling playground from daylight to sunrise. Expect refreshed stages, new experiences and plenty still under wraps – as CEO Tamás Kádár says, “This is only the beginning.”
