TG Lynes, the leading heating, plumbing and air movement supplier, has raised £24,000 for a north London children’s hospice after a year of fundraising, culminating in a charity gala dinner.
The Enfield-based company named Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice as charity partner for the last 12 months.
Noah’s Ark provides support to babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and their families, across London.
TG Lynes hosted events, including a charity golf day at Woburn Golf Club, while staff rose to the fundraising challenge with internal events and Antonios Drosinos, a warehouse and trade counter operative, making a 13,000 ft tandem skydive in Peterborough.
And in February the fundraising drive peaked with a gala dinner for suppliers and customers at Down Hall Hotel & Spa, which included a big-prize raffle and auction.
Andrew Ingram, Managing Director at TG Lynes, said TG Lynes was keen to support Noah’s Ark as part of the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have raised £24,000 for Noah’s Ark, an outstanding local charity that provides excellent care and support to hundreds of children and their families,” he said.
“Our colleagues, and their families and friends, did great work in helping to raise as much money as possible and we hope the money will go some way to supporting the vital work that it does.”
TG Lynes has pledged to continue its support for Noah’s Ark throughout 2023.
