The Cake & Bake Show, the UK’s biggest experiential baking show, returns to ExCeL London this autumn, complete with all the ingredients to make its tenth show-stopping year the best yet.
The Cake & Bake Show has something for everyone, whether you’re a novice chef or baker extraordinaire, visitors will leave armed with everything they need to create their own culinary masterpieces
at home. The Show is jam-packed with the best British bakers, chefs, experts and enthusiasts who are on hand to provide inspiration, entertainment and handy tips and tricks to take your at-home bakes to the next level.
Bursting with baking brilliance, a stellar line up of celebrity names will be showing off their skills and prowess in The Baking Super Theatre and The Decorating & Sugarcraft Stage. Show
ambassadors Cherish Finden, Eric Lanlard, Rosemary Shrager, Oli the Choc, and Paul A Young will be demonstrating their talents on stage, alongside GBBO participant
Freya Cox and plant-based chef Lisa Marley who will be showing their incredible vegan bakes. Chigs Parmer
and Paul Jagger from GBBO fame will also be on hand to share all the tips and tricks they learnt in the famous tent.
Returning for another year, Rosie Dummer (Rosie Cake-Diva) from the award-winning Netflix series Extreme Cake Makers is set to delight visitors with an incredible Showstopper Cake creation,
with more details to be released soon. Also known from the Netflix series, Molly Robbins will also be in attendance who will be creating a series of charming animal cakes as well as baking sensations, She Who Bakes, Jemma Melvin and Chell Bells.
Karen Davies, UK mould manufacturer and designer will also be at the show, presenting the quickest and easiest ways to bake and decorate edible Christmas goodies for your friends and family.
Feast your eyes on a selection of aesthetically pleasing bakes at the show’s
Display Tables and be inspired by the display of handcrafted celebration and wedding cakes from local bakeries
to get creative in the kitchen.
Have your cake and wear it with
Bake a Shoe, a brand-new exhibitor at this year’s show. Bake a Shoe celebrates the unique and unusual, by baking whatever shoe your heart desires into a cake version, before they turn it into a physical shoe. Whether you want to rock some heels, or
step out in trainers, showcase your individuality and sense of fun with a cake creation that will put a spring in your step.
The crème de la crème of the baking and culinary industry will be showcasing their delicious produce at this year’s Show. Head to the
Market Stands to sample a selection of delicious bakes. From cakes to brownies, breads to pies, visitors will be sure to find their new favourite tasty treats.
If that wasn’t enough to tickle your tastebuds, visitors can also shop from
hundreds of exhibitors as they display the very best accessories and baking essentials to make home baking a piece of cake.
Also featured at this year’s show is the Cake and Cocktail Lounge brought to you by Cake Boy,
where visitors can unwind and enjoy perfectly matched cakes and cocktails by Eric Lanlard, the Cake Boy. Enjoy a cheeky slice of Eric’s delicious cakes and wash it down with an impeccably paired cake inspired cocktail or mocktail.
Getting into the spooky spirit, the official
Cake Competition will be Halloween themed for this year’s show. Whether you’re a professional or self-taught baker, visitors are urged to show off their baking and decorating skills by entering the competition where Molly Robbins and Rosemary Shrager
will be selecting the winner. With a separate cake, cupcake and kids’ competition, everyone will be in with a chance to win some amazing prizes. A whopping
£1000 is up for grabs for the ‘the best in show’.
The Cake and Bake show has something for all the family this year. Over The Wall, the adopted and beneficiary charity for this year’s show, are hosting a dedicated Kids Zone, where
there will be hosting a range of Halloween inspired interactive children’s activities including face painting, the Big Quiz of Cake and cake decorating – perfect for a fun family day out. That’s not all as the Creative Doughnut Chef from
Doughnut Time will be on hand to create the kids’ doughnuts of dreams, right in front of their very eyes.
