The hottest night in comedy, entertainment and music is back! Today, Monday 13th October, Capital XTRA, home of the biggest Hip Hop & RnB, announced the return of the Capital XTRA Comedy Club, serving up top-tier laughs while raising money for Make Some Noise, Capital XTRA’s official charity.
Taking place from 7:30pm on Thursday 6th November at the Underbelly Boulevard Soho in central London, the highly anticipated return of the Capital XTRA Comedy Club promises another unforgettable evening of laughter, music and feel-good vibes!
Having previously hosted the likes of Babatunde Aléshé, Josephine Lacey, Axel Blake and more, the Capital XTRA Comedy Club returns with another exceptional line-up of some of the funniest, sharpest and most exciting names on the comedy circuit today.
Performing on the night will be talented comic Eshaan Akbar, South London viral video star Jack Skipper, Chris Rock-endorsed comedian Prince Abdi, Comedy Store regular Gbemi Oladipo, and rising star Blank Peng. And to keep the energy high throughout the evening, comedian, Capital XTRA presenter and Sky’s Fantasy Football League co-host Andrew Mensah also returns as the night’s compère.
Tickets for the Capital XTRA Comedy Club go on sale at 9:00am today on Global Player and capitalxtra.com, and all profits raised from this event will be donated to Global’s Make Some Noise.
Matt Deverson, Managing Editor of Capital XTRA, said: “The Capital XTRA Comedy Club is becoming a staple in the Capital XTRA calendar, and I couldn’t be more delighted that we’ve announced our next event. The line-up is superb, promising another proper laugh-out-loud evening of comedy and I’m proud that one of our own, Andrew Mensah, will compère the night again. While Capital XTRA is the home of Hip Hop & RnB, the Comedy Club has a very special and important place within what we’re doing: a real world connection with our audience and some of the best comedians on the circuit, and all in aid of raising money for our brilliant charity.”
Capital XTRA’s official charity, Make Some Noise, works to change lives across the UK by funding vital projects delivered by small charities – tackling issues such as mental health, poverty and homelessness.
