The Classic Car Boot Sale celebrates 10 Years at King’s Cross

The UK’s leading vintage event, The Classic Car Boot Sale, will return to King’s Cross on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2025, marking a decade of vintage celebrations at this iconic location.
Bringing a curated mix of vintage fashion, classic cars and sustainable shopping for just £7 in advance, the event will once again take over Granary Square, Lewis Cubitt Square and Coal Drops Yard for two full days of retro-inspired fun.
Alongside quality sustainable shopping, stunning classic cars and top-notch entertainment, new for 2025 is the Pinball & Arcade Alley in Lewis Cubitt Square. Curated by Pinball Geoff, star of BBC’s The Repair Shop, Pinball and Arcade Alley brings the thrill and nostalgia of a classic fairground to life. Visitors can try their luck play vintage Penny Arcade machines, pinball machines and more. A selection of Geoff’s impressive collection—spanning over 150 pinball machines from the 1930s to 2020—will be available to enjoy. This exciting addition to the Family Fun Zone offers an immersive taste of a quintessential British seaside arcade. And after all the gaming action, why not take a spin on the mini-Ferris Wheel.
Also new for this 10th anniversary event is the rock ‘n’ roll CCA Art Bus. The touring mobile art gallery is a recognised work of art, designed by the ‘Godfather of British pop art’, Sir Peter Blake, flaunting four sides of pop art iconography and classic Blake imagery.
Vintage fashionists will love the curated spring edit of late ‘90s–2000s fashion and collectibles showcased by the finest Y2K online sellers and the DIY preloved t-shirt design area where they can get crafty making their own Classic Car Boot Sale-inspired merchandise and 70/80s-themed design patterns.
Once they’ve browsed, shopped and created to their heart’s content, visitors can head to the Family Fun Zone before hitting the dance floor at Eddie’s Love Bus, bringing funk, soul and disco to Lewis Cubitt Square.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Citroën DS, a true icon of automotive design, there will be a special display of this avant-garde French creation through the decades in Coal Drops Yard.
This is the capital’s largest public fashion event with great people-watching opportunities as visitors arrive in their best threads from their favourite decades to shop from over 100 carefully curated vintage and designer second hand sellers. Visitors can admire all the brilliantly designed classic vehicles from the 1920s to the 1990s, as well as custom bicycles and the highly anticipated ride-ins from mods and rockers. Come and meet friends and enjoy delicious street food and drinks from the Routemaster Bus Bar, while dancing the day away to the live vinyl-spinning DJs.

Lewis Cubitt Square
• Y2K online sellers: A curated selection of online vintage stores will showcase 1990s and 2000s pieces, available to shop in person.
• Family Fun Zone: Geoff from BBC’s The Repair Shop brings his Pinball & Arcade Alley, packed with classic pinball machines plus the ever-popular mini-Ferris Wheel ride for the whole family to enjoy.
• The CCA Art Bus: A mobile art gallery designed by Sir Peter Blake, offering visitors the chance to explore pop-art iconography.
• DIY t-shirt design area: Visitors can create their own preloved t-shirts using exclusive Classic Car Boot Sale patterns.
• Eddie’s Love Bus: Disco and funk tunes from live DJs, creating an upbeat atmosphere throughout the day.
Coal Drops Yard
• Charity Super.Mkt: The UK’s largest outdoor charity market, featuring sustainable shopping from organisations including Shelter and Traid.
• Repair Fair: Learn repair and upcycling techniques at workshops, including sashiko stitching and patchwork.
• Heritage car display: Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Citroën DS, the area will feature a collection of these inspired creations through the decades.
