The Curling Club, the UK’s favourite alpine-themed winter entertainment, is celebrating its largest winter season to date, with four spectacular destinations now open across the UK. New to the roster is a landmark expansion to Manchester’s New Jackson (84th November 2025 – 28th February 2026), pop ups at Chelsea Winter Illuminations & Winter Village at Royal Hospital Chelsea (open 26th November – 28th December 2025), at Marceline in Canary Wharf (14th November 2025 – 28th February 28th 2026) alongside and a much-loved return to London Bridge’s Vinegar Yard (17th October 2025 – 28th February 2026).
This winter, Royal Hospital Chelsea has been transformed into a festive wonderland where The Curling Club’s casual curling is combined with wintery cocktails, mouthwatering food, festive tunes, and vibrant entertainment. Guests can journey through the Chelsea Winter Illuminations – a 1.5km light trail of dazzling large-scale artworks, interactive installations and soundscapes – before stepping into the free-to-enter Chelsea Winter Village.
The village offers a seasonal escape with mulled wine and festive bars, artisan Christmas market stalls, live performances on the bandstand, family fairground rides, and creative workshops. At its heart is The Curling Club’s après-ski marquee, complete with eight curling sheets, hourly and half-hourly sessions, and tailored packages for groups, corporates, and Christmas parties.
Chelsea Winter Illuminations & Village is open from 26th November to 21st December 2025 on Wednesdays to Fridays from 16:30 to 22:30, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 23:00. From 22nd to 28th December, it will open Mondays to Wednesdays from 16:30 to 22:30, and Fridays to Sundays from 12:00 to 23:00, closing only on Christmas Day.
Now open from 28th November 2025 – 28th February 2026, The Curling Club has also debuted in Manchester’s New Jackson district – the city’s new cultural hub set among its world-class skyscraper skyline. With state-of-the-art curling lanes, après ski bars, DJs, dancers, and festive food, the venue is a standout addition to Manchester’s winter social scene.
Following a successful first season, The Curling Club is now back at Vinegar Yard from 5th November 2025 – 28th February 2026, bringing curling, seasonal cocktails, and London’s most vibrant après ski experience to the heart of London Bridge.
Trevor Bowers, Chairman of The Curling Club, said: “This winter marks a milestone for The Curling Club as we expand to three incredible locations. Chelsea Winter Illuminations allows us to create something truly magical in a beautiful and adored area of London, while Manchester opens the door to new audiences, and Vinegar Yard gives us another exciting year in London Bridge. It’s our biggest and boldest season yet.”
Eve Muirhead, Olympic gold medallist and Team GB’s Chef de Mission, also returns as Ambassador and is lending her experience and insider knowledge across all sites, bringing her competitive spirit and passion for curling to this uniquely British winter experience. With the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina just around the corner, guests have the chance to embrace curling for themselves – whether picking up a stone for the first time or getting into the Olympic spirit with friends and colleagues across all sites.
Daren Whitaker, Founder & Chairman at Renaker – the developer behind The Curling Club at New Jackson’s site, said: “As the city centre’s first dedicated curling venue, The Curling Club is an excellent addition to Manchester’s already strong competitive socializing scene. We are excited to be hosting The Curling Club in our New Jackson neighborhood, bringing our residents together for a fun and unique experience and creating a lively destination for the wider community to enjoy.”
A representative of Vinegar Yard said: “After a remarkable first year, we’re delighted to welcome The Curling Club back for a second season. With the Winter Olympics on the horizon in 2026, we’re excited to elevate the experience and make this year even more special.”
Tickets are on sale now for both Manchester and London, with packages starting from £15 (+VAT) for Pay for Play and from £47.95 (+VAT) for Corporate Packages.
