The latest collection of homes at The Green Quarter, a parkland and canalside development in Southall, West London, are available from £350,000.
Rosemary House comprises a collection of 30 one- and two-bedroom apartments, which will be ready to move into in 2025 at The Green Quarter, one of the most biodiverse and significant regeneration projects in the UK being delivered by the Berkeley Group.
To reflect the surrounding nature, the homes have been designed using two colour palettes, The Evergreen and The Natural palette. They will also include fully custom-designed fitted kitchens with integrated appliances, stylish matte black fittings and water saving features to the bathroom and shower rooms, as well as 100% low energy lighting and underfloor heating throughout.
Rosemary House residents will have access to ‘The Parkside Club’ – exclusive, resident-only amenities, ideally positioned next to the Central Gardens, which include a relaxing lounge with a coffee station and co-working space, a gym and fitness studio, and screening room.
New homeowners also benefit from an onsite concierge, as well as access to The Green Quarter’s Resident Bike Scheme, a pioneering initiative exclusively for residents, where 30 bikes are available to use for free for up to 30 minutes every day. Half of the docks are located opposite Southall Station, while the rest are dotted around the development to ensure that no matter where someone is within The Green Quarter, a bike is always within reach.
Alongside these amenities and initiatives, residents can also make full use of Parkside Yards, an exciting new hub complete with a coffee house, pizzeria, independent lifestyle stores and padel courts. It also operates a packed arts programme for the community, including ceramics, sewing and quilting through Open Southall.
Situated next to the 90-acre Minet Country Park, The Green Quarter places nature at its heart with an impressive 13-acres of additional parkland (the equivalent of eight football fields), tranquil podium gardens and over one kilometre of canal frontage. A central park is the focal point of The Green Quarter, featuring trickling waterways, a community amphitheatre and play spaces.
The Green Quarter is fast becoming one of the country’s most biodiverse new developments, and a key part of this is the creation of a pioneering tree nursery. The tree nursery features over 600 native air-potted trees and sits alongside a woodland nature trail and play area for children. Once matured, the trees will be planted around the development.
The Green Quarter is a short walk to Southall station, which provides connections into Central London via the Elizabeth Line. Journey times to Bond Street are 17-minutes, 24-minutes to Liverpool Street and 31-minutes to Canary Wharf – and for those travelling further afield, Heathrow is just 10 minutes away.
Marcus Blake, Managing Director at St George, Berkeley Group, said: “The Green Quarter’s location is unparalleled, residents are moments from Southall station and the quick connections it offers into the centre of London, while also benefitting from the huge amount of outdoor space and exclusive amenities already available on site.
“Our latest launch, Rosemary House, is an incredible opportunity for local first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder and become a part of this bustling, friendly neighbourhood. We encourage people to come down and experience what life could be like living at The Green Quarter and walk around the Central Gardens.”
