The London Dungeon is offering a ‘get out of jail free card’, to those who forgot or couldn’t be bothered to buy Christmas presents for friends and family, in the form of a deceptive delivery service.
The service, launched just in time for Christmas, lets people download a fake delivery confirmation that they can screenshot and send on – allowing them to claim their gift “must have been lost in the post”.
The fake postage slip confirmation is available on the London Dungeon’s website to download until December 31st to help the nation dodge the Christmas complaints of their nearest and dearest.
A London Dungeon spokesperson said, “This year has been rough enough without the frustration of last-minute Christmas shopping. So for those that can’t be bothered, or who just haven’t found the time, we’re offering you a way out – just pretend you sent one! Afterall, they do say it’s the thought that counts.”
