The MOLE Clinic, the only UK private clinic group dedicated to skin cancer screening, has extended its presence in the capital city with the opening of a London Bridge clinic, located at 9 St Thomas Street, London.
Following a notable increase in demand, with more than 35,000 patients visiting its specialist medical teams each year, the latest addition to The MOLE Clinic’s nationwide group offers a suite of innovative, high-quality skin cancer screening services. The new London Bridge clinic marks the fifth London location for the group, which has been supporting its patients with early detection of skin cancer for over 21 years.
The MOLE Clinic London Bridge offers Full Body Mole Checks with specialist nurses to discuss a patient’s personal risk for skin cancer and to examine all visible moles to identify any which are visually abnormal. Additionally, patients can have a Single Mole Check, using a dermoscopic lens to take a high-quality, detailed image beneath the surface of a mole to show features invisible to the naked eye and enable diagnosis of the very earliest basal cell, squamous cell and melanoma skin cancers. The dermoscopic image will be sent for rapid remote review by an expert doctor.
Victoria Jupp, Chief Operating Officer at The MOLE Clinic commented: “We’re proud to expand our footprint in London with the opening of our London Bridge clinic. The growing demand for our specialist services reflects the importance people place on the early detection of skin cancer, and this additional location enables us to make our trusted screening services even more accessible. For over two decades, it has been our mission to provide patients with expert care and peace of mind while lowering the skin cancer mortality rate, and we look forward to continuing that work here in the heart of the capital city.”
