The Ned and The Macallan have come together this festive season to debut their inaugural collaborative Christmas tree, a spectacular symbol of heritage, craftsmanship, and seasonal celebration. This exclusive installation, unveiled in The Ned’s grand banking hall, is inspired by The Macallan’s rich Scotch whisky heritage and the natural beauty of Speyside.
Designed in collaboration with Grandirosa, the 22ft tree draws upon the warmth and character of the distillery, bringing the spirit of Scotland to the heart of London’s luxury hospitality scene. Draped in velvet bows in The Macallan’s signature red, the tree is accented with copper baubles echoing the distillery’s copper stills. White ornaments bearing The Macallan’s iconic ‘M’ also nestle among berries, acorns and foliage that pay tribute to whisky’s Speyside roots.
Complementing the visual spectacle, guests can also enjoy bespoke whisky experiences throughout the season. The collaboration sees The Library Bar – usually open just for members – become an elegant showcase for The Macallan’s prestige whisky portfolio, including The Macallan M Decanter, Art is the Flower and Harmony Collection, offering guests a rare opportunity to savour some of its most special expressions. Meanwhile Lutyens Grill will feature a curated list of The Macallan cocktails, offering a sensorial journey through flavour, craft, and tradition.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our friends at The Macallan to The Ned this Christmas,” says Group Managing Director Gareth Banner, The Ned. “This collaboration celebrates our shared commitment to craftsmanship, storytelling, and timeless elegance.”
Sergio Cabello, Head of The Macallan UK, adds: ” Nobody does Christmas like the Ned, so they felt like the perfect partner with whom to create a truly memorable festive season. This partnership is about bringing people together and creating joyful moments and festive experiences worth celebrating.”
The Macallan Christmas Tree at The Ned will be on display from 24 November till 27 December inviting guests to experience a season of warmth, flavour, and festive wonder.
