The much-loved annual London Open Gardens weekend takes place next year over the 7th and 8th of June.
Tickets are available NOW at a pre-Christmas rate of £17 per Adult Weekend Ticket (a saving of nearly 30%). Children age 11 & under go FREE and 12-17yr olds for £10.
Event Producer Anna White says: “This year’s London Open Gardens will make a clear link with the challenges our capital’s green spaces face, such as budget cuts and climate change. But we’ll also be showcasing the amazing solutions and hard work communities invest in them. It’s a story of hope over adversity, which we would love to turn into a model others can follow resulting in a better London for all.”
Run by the charity London Parks and Gardens, the event embraces gardens across central London; from exquisite roof spaces owned by city banks to historic institutions, community allotments and even the Prime Minister’s Downing Street garden in previous years.
A host of exciting new gardens will be open to London Open Gardens ticket holders next June, including, for the first time Battersea Roof Gardens at Battersea Power Station, one of London’s largest residential rooftop gardens (entry by ballot exclusively to London Open Garden visitors).
Alongside the new precious green spaces opening their ‘gates’ for the first time there are 100+ returning gardens including visitor favourites such as The Charterhouse Square Garden comprising seven acres, including six courtyard gardens within the Tudor walls of the Charterhouse site, lying on the very edge of the City of London and 25 Cannon Street a mini jewel of a City rooftop space, overlooking the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral; along with the programme of bookable guided walks and cycle tours.
The full list of participating gardens will be announced in January 2025.
Tickets are now on sale https://londongardenstrust.org at the reduced pre-Christmas price of just £17 for the whole weekend (saving 30%), they could be the perfect seasonal present, on sale until December 25th.
