It’s London to the rescue. To support the On-Trade during the season of stout, Fuller’s – the number one cask brand for rate of sale in Central and South England – is providing its Black Cab stout to pub owners who are concerned about maintaining availability this Christmas.

Earlier this week, black cab enthusiast, Tom Skinner personally delivered the first of many kegs of Black Cab available to save London this weekend, to The Queen’s Head in Soho, giving it his signature rating ‘BOSH’. To watch the video, click here: www.youtube.com/shorts/Qnn-gnXoN80

Pubs and bars running dry of their regular stock can win 2 kegs of Black Cab to help them cover the shortage, by visiting www.blackcabstout.co.uk/rescue-my-pub and entering contact details for a pre-Christmas delivery*. Consumers can also win one of five prize packages celebrating the season of stout.

Brewed at Fuller’s iconic Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, London, Black Cab launched as a seasonal limited edition in 2011 but due to popular demand, it quickly became part of the brand’s core range. It is a rich, dark beer made from five different malts and has an ABV of 4.2%.

Robert Hobart, Marketing Director at Asahi UK, said: “Christmas is the most crucial time of the year for pubs and bars and after a challenging few years, availability issues are the last thing these venues need. We are proud to support the nation’s pubs and at times like these demonstrate that a Black Cab will never let you down.”

Stout has continued to skyrocket in 2024, growing at 20.5% year on year. Black Cab has grown 150% ahead of the market, driven by both increased distribution and increased rate of sale through existing outlets. For more information visit: https://blackcabstout.co.uk/.
