The world’s largest food saving app, Too Good To Go, has reported a surge in demand amidst the cost of living crisis.

In the UK from March to July 2022, Too Good To Go has seen more than 30% increase in the number of registered users saving food on the app, when compared to the period between December 2021 – February 2022 (pre-inflation).

Since March 2022, the app has also seen a continuous increase in the number of new users who save their first Magic Bag within their first 30 days using the app. This figure is now at an all-time high for the company, suggesting new users coming to the app are more motivated to start saving food than ever before.

Alongside a change in usage from consumers on the app, Too Good To Go has also seen an influx in new stores across London sign up to the food waste fighting platform lately, including some of the city’s best dining spots.

Alongside the nation’s most popular food chains like Starbucks, Greggs, Upper Crust, Pret, LEON and Wasabi, popular food businesses now live on the app in London include:

The Watch House – Save Magic Bags in the morning or afternoon filled with freshly made sustenance-to-go from the breakfast, lunch or bakery selection of this modern coffee house with sites across London.
