TOOTIN’ WEEKEND AWAITS AS COUNTRY ON THE COMMON RETURNS TO SOUTH LONDON

Country on the Common returns in 2026 bigger and better than ever, bringing a weekend of country music, dancing and the cowboy spirit to Tooting Common on the 4th and 5th of July 2026. Country On The Common boasts a buzzing atmosphere for both dedicated country fans and newcomers alike, perfect for an unforgettable summer celebration.
There will be live music all weekend from the hottest stars in country and blues. On Saturday 4th, guests can dust off their dancing boots and get ready to groove to Grammy-nominated bluesman Seasick Steve, who’ll be sure to deliver his signature gritty, roots-driven sound. He will be supported by the talented Kezia Gill, Twinnie and One Night In Nashville. Sunday will be headlined by rising US country artist Cody Pennington, who is winning fans worldwide with his authentic Nashville sound and dynamic live shows. Supported by UK artist Elles Bailey and country-pop singer Harleymoon Kemp. Plus, Sunday will also feature a very special guest, BBC Radio 2 DJ legend Vernon Kay presenting his Country Jukebox DJ set for the very first time, making for the perfect close to an incredible weekend of live country music.
Guests can have a ball with unmissable tribute acts to hear songs that the whole family will know and love. From Johnny Cash Roadshow and The Shania Twain Story to the Chris Stapleton Experience and Fearlessly Taylor Swift there is truly something to get everybody dancing
The good times don’t stop there; burn up the dance floor with classic line dancing from The Country Roses, learn how to hoedown with the Cut A Shine Barn Dance Band, and boogie the night away with DJ Chris Armstrong or simply dance your socks off at the Silent Desert Disco.

For food and drink lovers, there is plenty to explore from authentic BBQ food, to ice-cold craft beer and whiskey as smooth as country music on a Sunday morning.
Country fans will feel like a real-life cowboy with Rodeo Bull Riding and Axe Throwing, plus there is plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. Little wanderers can experience Old West Circus, Tail Tails Storytelling, The Craft Corral and Silent Desert Disco and more.
The VIP Saloon is where VIP ticket holders can retreat boasting its own private bar, a welcome drink on arrival, a VIP garden area with views of the main stage, and interactive poker and roulette tables. Guests can relax, socialise, and enjoy the performances from a premium setting at the heart of the event.
