Top 8 celebrity owned pubs/restaurant in the UK – from Andy Murray’s 5* hotel in Kinbuck to Jodie Kidd’s country pub in West Sussex

We often see our favourite celebrities venturing into the food and drink industry, with many stars now the proud owners of their own pubs, bars and restaurants across the UK. And if you’re in need of a new spot to enjoy a drink or looking for inspiration when it comes to your next meal out, then look no further as the team at Coffee Friend have taken a deep dive into the best celebrity-owned venues on offer up and down the country.

New research from the UK based coffee retailer takes into account ratings and reviews from visitors on Tripadvisor to work out an overall excellence percentage, with the top eight venues beating the likes of establishments owned by David Beckham, Ed Sheeran and Sir Ian McKellen.

Tennis star Andy Murray and the five-star hotel he owns, The Cromlix Hotel, located in Kinbuck, Scotland close to his hometown of Dunblane, topped the list with a rating of 4.5 and an excellence percentage of 79%.

Coming in a close second was Guy Ritchie, with the actor’s Lore of the Land pub, found in Fitzrovia, London, racking up an impressive excellence percentage of 78%.

Singer James Blunt’s Chelsea-based pub The Fox and Pheasant placed third (70%), with footballer Gareth Bale’s Elevens Bar and Grill in Cardiff (64%) and Jodie Kidd’s West Sussex country pub, The Half Moon (59%) also making the cut.
