On Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April, Tough Mudder returns with the first of its city-based events, Tough Mudder 5K Urban in Finsbury Park to shake up your social calendar.
Encouraging Londoners to ditch the same old spin class, abandon boozy brunch and take on a new fitness experience with friends, Tough Mudder’s 5K Urban series comes judgement free and full of fun.
Featuring 13 of Tough Mudder’s top-rated obstacles including three brand new innovations Texas Hold ’em, Overtired and Tight Squeeze along with returning fan-favourites, Next Level, Pyramid Scheme and Everest, Tough Mudder’s 5K Urban events have been upgraded in 2019. The name of the game is simple: push and pull yourself and your teammates up, over or under the epic obstacles to make your way to the finish line.
Once across the finish line, it’s anything but game-over as the electric atmosphere lives on at Mudder Village. Celebrate your achievement with a free BrewDog Punk IPA and soak up the festival-style vibes. Both Friday Night and Saturday events will host street food vans, a bar, live DJs and more.

This is the first in the 5K Urban series for 2019, with additional events taking place in Clapham Common, Clifton Down in Bristol and for the first time ever, inside a stadium, the home of the Northampton Saints in Northampton at Franklin’s Gardens. Check out all Tough Mudder 5K Urban events here.
New additions to free swag for participants this year will be waiting for participants at the finish line. For the 2019 season, participants will receive a Snickers More Protein® bar, a Brewdog Punk IPA, alongside their iconic finishers headbands and an all-new finisher t-shirt.
