Two new live music pop-ups have launched in Victoria: ‘Sundowner Sessions’ will take place every Thursday from 5-8pm at Nova Place, while ‘Cardinal Plays’ takes a 12-2pm lunchtime slot every Thursday and Saturday at Cardinal Place – both are free and will run until the end of September.
The newly-launched music pop-ups will feature a variety of DJs, singers, guitarists and other musicians, from emerging talent, to the likes of Wallis, a former BBC 1xtra step-up artist, and Ollie Hayes who recently featured on BBC Introducing.
The Nova ‘Sundowner Sessions’ stage, between Vagabond and Bone Daddies, is on a traffic-free, tree-lined avenue where restaurants and bars offer al fresco tables for guests to take advantage of long summer nights.
‘Cardinal Plays’ takes place in the heart of Cardinal Place, under the fascinating, newly-installed ‘Four Winds’ digital art work – the area is surrounded by restaurants with outdoor seating, including the recently refurbished Browns.
