Floored featuring The New Elders, a fashion event by Wall & Jones in collaboration with students from University of the Arts London (UAL), took over Indra Studios in East London with a powerful celebration of style, sustainability, and individuality—across every generation. This was more than a fashion show, it was a testament to the power of people coming together to create something truly extraordinary.
Led by Creative Director Karolina Kai and award winning producer Ashton Hertz, the show featured 20 models aged 20 to 70+ and 40 original looks from a dynamic mix of independent designers. With a cast of first-time walkers, seasoned creatives, and multi-generational style icons, Floored challenged fashion’s outdated ideals and proved that self-expression has no age limit.
In addition to the runway, guests experienced an after-party that turned the evening into a full-scale celebration of inclusivity and community-led fashion.
“We didn’t want to just create another fashion show—we wanted to create a movement that proves style has no age limit,” said Karolina Kai, a final UAL student and Creative Director of Floored. “This was about visibility, voice, and celebrating the kind of beauty that doesn’t always get a spotlight.”
Among the audience was legendary British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, who praised Floored as “the beginning of a fashion revolution.” Her endorsement solidified the event’s mission to reimagine what fashion can be when driven by creativity, diversity, and purpose.
The show drew a packed house, including backstage coverage from Getty Images, and widespread engagement across social media platforms, setting a new precedent for what’s possible when emerging talent and established fashion forces collaborate.
