UGLE announces first live music at Freemasons’ Hall new café and bar

The first live music at the new Café and Bar at Freemasons’ Hall will take place on Thursday 3 February 2022 at 5:30 pm.

During the evening, the public will have a chance to get a glimpse inside the stunning art deco building and enjoy the new facilities. The café and bar have a large selection of food and drinks available for visitors to enjoy in the opulent surroundings in art deco style.

Ally Retbury is a professional singer and will sing ‘Big Band’ tunes by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole. She has previously performed in Friendsical – A Parody Musical About Friends, and as a soloist at the 50 Years of Musicals concert at Buckingham Palace. Other songs include Bullets Over Broadway and My Fair Lady.

Whilst visiting Freemasons’ Hall, the public will also be able to view the latest museum exhibition with a late-night tour. The exhibition focuses on ‘The Generous Dentist: Bartholomew Ruspini’, a renowned surgeon, dentist and Freemason. Mr Ruspini provided free dental care to London’s poor and also established charities that continue today. The exhibition is free to all and closes on 7 February 2022.
