Unleash Your Inner Artist at Marble Arts Week

Marble Arch London BID has partnered with arts charity Hypha Studios to launch Marble Arts Week, a series of free art workshops for beginners.

Marble Arts Week will take place from 21 to 25 July at Hypha Gallery Marble Arch at 15 Great Cumberland Place, just a two-minute walk from Marble Arch Underground station.

Led by professional artists from London-based creative studio, Crafting Joy, participants will be able to unwind during lunch breaks or after work with a hands-on, uplifting hour of art and creativity.

The sessions will explore everything from Pop Art and Impressionism through to watercolours and Cubism and every participant will leave with their own finished artwork to keep, gift or display.

Throughout Marble Arts Week, a series of community art sessions will take place for local primary school children, and workshops with participants from LDN London, a charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities, and for a group of older residents.

These dedicated sessions reflect Marble Arch BID’s commitment to ensuring that art is accessible, inclusive and a source of joy for people of all ages and abilities.

Kay Buxton, Chief Executive, Marble Arch London BID, said: “Marble Arch has served as a backdrop for many famous works of art, and with the recent completion of its restoration, we are delighted to be working with Hypha Studios to host Marble Arts Week. These sessions will allow us to bring people who work, live and study in the area together through a joyful, hands-on experience, to help people unwind and learn a new skill.”

All public sessions are free to attend, but advance booking is essential. The list of sessions can be found below:
