The London favourite, Battersea Park Fireworks will return to the much-loved park for two days on November 5th and 6th. The Saturday Night will host an unmissable show delivered by Titanium Fireworks who have provided notable displays to such prestigious events as The Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. To accompany this epic sing-along display will be the traditional bonfire, alongside plenty of options for Autumn comfort food, and warming mulled wine. And if you want to keep the party going, there’s also the option to join the Battersea Bierkeller Afterparty (18+) to dance the night away!

November 6th will host the family-oriented Sunday night show once again. With an earlier start time, it too has the stunning Fireworks display plus an impressive 7-metre tall visual light installation as a bonfire alternative, and while the grown-ups are enjoying a mulled wine the kids can find their sweet treats at Sweetieland.

Enable, a not-for-profit who work in partnership with Wandsworth Council to deliver health, leisure and community services and events across the borough will this year gift 5,000 Battersea Park Fireworks tickets to local children’s service, emergency service staff and charity and community groups. Plus, as a thank you to the local community, Wandsworth charity workers can nominate their staff or colleagues to receive free tickets here.

Wandsworth Borough Council have pledged to be carbon-neutral by 2030 and to help achieve this, Enable are implementing a number of measures to ensure Battersea Park Fireworks is a carbon-neutral event in 2022:

o The carbon footprint throughout the event will be tracked and all unmitigated emissions offset
o The fireworks provider Titanium Fireworks is partnered with a UK tree planting scheme to offset the footprint of all explosives and their journey to the event
o All waste will be sorted and nothing will be going to landfill
o There will be no single-use plastic issued on site
o Energy use and fuel consumption will be tackled by reducing reliance on generators and utilising park electricity wherever possible
o Guests are heavily encouraged to reduce their environmental impact by travelling by foot or train to the event where possible

There are small changes that visitors can make to help reduce the collective environmental impact. Please consider walking or getting a train to the event and ensuring all on-site litter is put in the dedicated recycling and nothing-to-landfill bins. There’s also no need to print out your tickets, as these can be scanned electronically.

The council’s culture spokesperson Cllr Kemi Akinola said: “We’re proud to host one of London’s most spectacular displays and this year are particularly pleased to announce that we will be giving away tickets to many deserving local people. With all ticket sales helping us raise funds to enhance green spaces throughout Wandsworth we are hoping for a successful and joyous community event.”
