A former Chelsea student marked her ‘full circle’ moment at the age of 70 after launching her 14th book, Book Magic, at the Old Chelsea Library. Having regularly visited the library as a young girl, the building is now occupied by her childhood school, adding further sentiment to the memorable event.

Esteemed entrepreneurs and authors assembled at the Old Chelsea Library last night to celebrate the launch of book mentor, founder and CEO Lucy McCarraher’s 14th book Book Magic.

Introduced to guests by award-winning entrepreneur Daniel Priestley, Lucy shared her unique personal connection to the event location and her journey writing Book Magic using the Book Magic AI tool, before inviting fellow authors to share how writing their books has transformed their lives.

As a child, Lucy lived just up the road in Chelsea Square and used to spend hours in the Old Chelsea Children’s Library. When thinking of where to host the launch party for her 14th book Book Magic, she felt the library was the perfect location. In a further moment of serendipity, she discovered that her former school, Francis Holland Girls Prep School, had just moved into the old Chelsea Library Building.

“I learned to love writing at school and read voraciously from the Chelsea Children’s Library, visiting several times a week when I was a young girl, so being able to celebrate my book launch in this wonderful building is truly Book Magic in action,” explains Lucy, who is the UK’s most experienced business book mentor, helping over a thousand entrepreneurs, experts and business owners to write and publish their books.

Drawing on decades of writing and publishing experience, Lucy’s latest book, Book Magic, offers a tried-and-tested framework to become a published author faster. Using the analogy of a goldmine, Lucy demonstrates that leaders, consultants, coaches, or founders are already standing on the valuable knowledge and intellectual property required to form the structure and content of a book. Book Magic equips them with the crucial tools to unearth this precious metal and formulate these insights into a book intrinsically aligned with their vision.

“Book Magic is more than putting words on a page; it’s about writing a glowing business future,” explains Lucy. “With Book Magic, readers can shape and polish the book they have always dreamed of into a dazzling asset that drives authority and generates leads on a global scale,” she adds.
