Westfield launches immersive story-led grotto experience

This winter, from 3 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City will set the stage for a season of Christmas celebrations that blend art, music and retail magic.

Striking installations, nostalgic Christmas trees and a dynamic programme of live entertainment, immersive experiences, and exciting new store openings will transform the centres into standout festive destinations. From headline acts to hidden gems, this year’s line-up promises a vibrant mix of music, art, movies, late night shopping and more, making Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City the must-visit locations of the season.

Wicked: For Good – The Experience (UK Exclusive): 13 November – 4 January, Westfield London
In an exclusive collaboration with Universal UK, Westfield London invites visitors to step inside the world of Wicked: For Good with a free, immersive experience inspired by the new film. For just shy of two months, the Atrium will be transformed with a themed installation, original props from the production, recreated film sets, interactive moments and striking photo opportunities.

‘The Feel-Good Edit’ Pop-Up: 20-30 November, Westfield London
Westfield London presents ‘The Feel-Good Edit’ – a brand-new, free 11-day wellbeing pop-up offering a moment of calm amid the festive buzz. Visitors can enjoy complimentary express manicures, wellness refreshments at The Recharge Bar, uplifting weekend DJ sets and exclusive perks for Westfield Club members. The space will also host live fireside-style talks exploring modern self-care.

Time Out Presents The Winter Square: end of November to end of December, Westfield London
An art-meets-music celebration that transforms Westfield Square into a glowing festive hub. At its centre is a beautifully curated Christmas bandstand, hosting a programme of live entertainment every Thursday to Sunday. Surrounding the stage, immersive light installations by acclaimed artist Amy Isles Freeman will turn the square into an open-air gallery, blending classic Christmas charm with bold, contemporary creativity.

Meet Santa at ‘The Good Factory’: 6 – 24 December, Westfield London (The Southern Terrace) and Westfield Stratford City (The Street)
Families are invited to step inside The Good Factory – an immersive grotto experience where children can help bring the magic of the season to life. Join the elves, awaken the Great Dream Machine, and enjoy a heart-warming encounter with Santa himself at the centre of it all. Visitors can then explore the festive gift shop, filled with seasonal treasures to take home.

Tickets cost £12.50 including a special keepsake gift and a magical photo to remember the day. The experience is open to all ages and bookable online, with more information available on Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City Events pages.

School Choir Competition: 3 and 4 December, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City
Primary schools local to Hammersmith & Fulham and Newham will perform seasonal classics in a heart-warming celebration of community talent. Participating schools will be competing for a £1,000 Westfield gift card and a trophy!

Christmas Roaming Entertainment: 13-14 and 20-21 December, Westfield Stratford City and Westfield London
Across the two weekends leading up to Christmas, both centres will come alive with roaming performances including Bjorn the Polar Bear, dynamic LED Drummers and live seasonal music throughout the centres.

Late Night Shopping including New Retail Arrivals at Westfield London: 15 – 23 and 27 December, Westfield Stratford City and Westfield London
Selected stores across both centres will stay open until 10pm, giving shoppers extra time to discover the perfect gifts and soak up the festive atmosphere.

Just in time for Christmas shopping and seasonal wellbeing, new openings in Westfield London include:
GAP – The iconic American casualwear brand returns this December with a new standalone store, offering its signature denim and everyday essentials. Opening 4 November.
Alo – The globally renowned premium athleisure and lifestyle brand, known for yoga wear, performance apparel, and wellness-inspired fashion. Opening 28 November.
