Wray & Nephew is coming home to Notting Hill Carnival, with the Jamaica rum brand set to take over the Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park stage at this year’s eagerly anticipated event.
Returning after a three-year break, the iconic Notting Hill Carnival celebration is set to be bigger than ever as culture lovers descend upon Europe’s biggest street party in West London once again – with the first-ever Wray stage at Emslie Horniman Pleasance Park set to deliver an unforgettable music experience for attendees.
Wray & Nephew has teamed up with a whole host of special guests who have been inspired by the beautiful, unique nation of Jamaica for their performances. This includes a carefully curated selection of top artists and DJs who will be serving up sunshine sounds from the last six decades. Carnival-goers will of course also be able to sip on an authentic Jamaican Wray Rum Punch whilst enjoying the brand’s line-up of leading-edge musical talent.
The Wray & Nephew stage at Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park will be the ultimate celebration of Jamaica’s 60-year independence this year, and the island’s powerful contribution to music over the decades; from reggae, ska and dancehall, through to its influence on British genres such as lovers’ rock, jungle, rap, garage and grime, ensuring there are sounds and beats for every Carnival-goer to enjoy.
The world’s second largest celebration of Caribbean culture, this marks a momentous occasion for Wray & Nephew. While Wray has always been an authentic part of the Carnival fabric, the brand will now officially host the Emslie Horniman Pleasance Park stage for the first time in 2022 and is proud to be an official partner of Notting Hill Carnival.
