YOTEL London Shoreditch has officially opened its doors as one of the newest hotels in East London, marking YOTEL’s fifth city centre hotel in the UK. YOTEL London Shoreditch is located in one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, and has launched its new cocktail and food menu offering, including ‘build your own breakfasts’ and all day dining, with the menu’s own cockney rhyming slang so guests can really live like locals.

The 161-room hotel sits in the heart of East London, a creative and cultural hub which is also home to some of London’s best restaurants, cocktail bars and urban wineries. YOTEL London Shoreditch’s new food and drink menu is part of Komyuniti, the hotel’s stylish all-day bar, restaurant and co-working space, including a fun ‘build your own breakfast’ for guests on the go and all menu items helpfully offering guests their ‘Cockney rhyming slang’ alternative names.

From Jack the Rippers (Chicken Strippers), the Mona Lisa (Pizza Margherita) or a classic Ruby Murray (Chicken Tikka Masala), Komyuniti’s varied menu also offers local beer options from Redchurch, an award winning brewery founded in Shoreditch and paying homage to its East London roots. Komyuniti’s appetising cocktail list continues to support local, with the ‘Paradise Rose’ comprising of East London Liquor Company gin, Campari, grenadine and rose lemonade, or the ‘Lychee Martini’ mixing East London Liquor Company gin with lychee liqueur, Maraschino, grenadine and lime juice.

Catering for business travellers and guests looking to make the most of their time in London, Komyuniti’s breakfast offering ensures guests are set up for the day by building their own breakfast bag including: a breakfast burrito, their choice of pastry, yoghurt or granola pot, fruit juice, fruit and tea or coffee. Serving food from 12pm until 10pm, the hotel’s new menu offering includes delicious bar bites, flatbreads and bao buns, making it the perfect location to catch up on emails with a coffee or enjoy a sharing platter with friends.

YOTEL London Shoreditch also incorporates YOTEL’s signature design and technology features with self-service stations allowing guests to seamlessly check in in under a minute. Less than three minutes’ walk from Bethnal Green tube station, the hotel is easily accessed from the city centre, meaning guests are just minutes’ from London’s famous tourist attractions.

A stone’s throw from Victoria Park, YOTEL London Shoreditch is the ideal spot for a weekend of music, as London’s events scene returns with a bang, with Victoria Park hosting legendary festival All Points East in August. In addition, just a 20 minute stroll away is one of London’s most famous markets, Columbia Road Flower Market, jam-packed with vintage and homeware shops and a street transformed by flowers and foliage, sure to delight any guests as they take a Sunday stroll in the sunshine. Surrounded by some of London’s most idyllic green spaces, YOTEL London Shoreditch is also a mere 10 minutes away from London Fields, one of the borough’s most popular parks and home to London Fields Lido, an outdoor swimming pool which is a beloved spot on hot summer days.

The hotel is in the perfect location to explore another of London’s tourist hotspots, Brick Lane, one of the city’s most popular hubs for fashion, food and street art. A melting pot of markets, Brick Lane is the best place to discover local designers and artists, quirky shops or one of the neighbourhood’s world-famous curries. Also set to open in 2023 is the brand new Young V&A museum, located just down the street from YOTEL London Shoreditch.

A hub of culture and creativity, YOTEL London Shoreditch’s neighbourhood features an eclectic mix of art, design and food and drink, and the hotel aims to become a cultural hub of its own with a highly anticipated programme of events set to run across the summer.

Danilo Fadale, General Manager at YOTEL London Shoreditch said:
