Shining a spotlight on incredible vets: BVA Awards 2027 opens for nominations

0

Nominations are now open for the BVA Awards 2027, with vets, vet teams and, for some awards, members of the public, all invited to help shine a light on outstanding and inspirational veterinary professionals.

The awards showcase talented colleagues who are: going above and beyond for their patients and clients; pushing the boundaries of veterinary science; supporting wellbeing and positive workplace culture; delivering inspirational leadership and mentoring; and driving positive change on sustainability.

The winners will be announced at a special awards dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Thursday 11 March 2027, as part of BVA Live.

BVA President Dr Gwen Rees FRCVS said: “Working in the veterinary profession is incredibly rewarding but it is undoubtedly hard work. The BVA Awards are a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on the vets and vet teams who work with such dedication, whether that’s delivering the best care for animals and their clients, ensuring a positive workplace culture, or pushing the boundaries of veterinary science. If you know an individual or team who deserves recognition, please nominate them for one of our awards.”
