Forget everything you thought you knew about bingo. One of London’s most outrageous underground party experiences is making its long-awaited return, as Rebel Bingo takes over the newly refurbished Plaza Camden on Friday 23rd October 2026, bringing a riotous combination of music, live performance, immersive visuals and absolute mayhem to the former Camden Odeon.

Long before alternative bingo became a staple of London’s nightlife, Rebel Bingo was rewriting the rulebook. What began in a London church hall in 2008 quickly exploded into a global phenomenon, taking its gloriously chaotic parties from the capital’s underground venues to stages across the UK, Europe, the USA and even China. Along the way came worldwide tours, Las Vegas hotels, major festival appearances and even its own television show.

With legendary London venues including Brixton Electric and Scala among its former stomping grounds, Rebel Bingo built a reputation for turning the traditionally sedate game into an all-out party, where the lines between audience and performer disappeared and absolutely anything could happen.

Now, after years away, the original rebels are back – and they’re ready to shake up London’s nightlife all over again.

Taking over a dedicated space within Plaza Camden, the newly transformed former Odeon cinema on Parkway, The Underground Rebel Bingo Club promises an entirely new chapter for the cult party institution. Blending cutting-edge immersive visuals, 3D sound, live performances and an explosive party soundtrack, the experience takes everything that made the original Rebel Bingo legendary and turns it up several notches.

Expect bingo, but not as you know it. Forget quiet concentration, sensible prizes and polite applause. This is a full-throttle, interactive experience designed to overload the senses, where audience participation is essential, the atmosphere is electric and the unexpected is very much part of the plan.

And the party doesn’t stop when the bingo does.

The new Underground Rebel Bingo Club will also become a home for a series of brilliantly unconventional party concepts, including The End of the World Experience, an apocalyptic party where news bulletins count down to the end of civilisation and DJs take guests’ final song requests. Already a festival favourite, the concept has hosted closing parties at Download Festival in recent years.
Elsewhere, Cat Face Party introduces one very important entry requirement – guests must draw a cat face on their face before stepping inside – while Rebel Karaoke Club will transform the venue’s former cinema screens into the backdrop for enormous, crowd-powered singalongs.

The return of Rebel Bingo also marks an exciting new chapter for one of Camden’s most iconic buildings. Originally built in 1937 as the Gaumont Palace and later home to the Camden Odeon, the historic Parkway cinema is being given a new lease of life as Plaza Camden, a vibrant new cultural and arts destination opening this October.

Bringing together theatre, live music, cinema, art, comedy, food and community under one roof, Plaza Camden is set to become a new creative heartbeat for the neighbourhood. With a diverse programme spanning classic film screenings, live performances, exhibitions, family activities and cultural events, the venue will celebrate Camden’s extraordinary cultural heritage while creating a welcoming space for a new generation of visitors.

Between Rebel Bingo shows, guests will be able to explore the wider building, discovering music, art and specially curated experiences throughout the venue. It’s a fitting new home for one of London’s most unconventional party institutions, bringing fresh energy to a building that has entertained Londoners for almost 90 years.
From its humble beginnings in a church hall to becoming an international underground sensation, Rebel Bingo has always been about doing things differently. Now, with a new home, a fresh creative direction and a city ready for something a little less ordinary, the stage is set for the next chapter.
