Ladies and Gentleman please fasten your seat belts and prepare for take off because launching at London’s fabric is the DNB Brunch – a bottomless drum and bass themed brunch with limitless fried chicken and rum cocktails and DJs such as Hype, Optical, Fabio, Grooverider, Randall, Doc Scott and more.

Opening at midday on Saturday 30th June and running until the early evening, the DNB Brunch will be a high octane mix of dining, dancing and immersive games which all fit the drum and bass rave theme. Guests will be seated at long banqueting tables where mountains of BIRD Restaurant’s knock-out free-range fried chicken will be served to a classic drum and bass soundtrack. What’s more, the expertly fried, crisp-skinned wings and thighs will be ‘bottomless’, as will the rum punch and brandy & cokes.  For dessert, diners will gorge on piles of home-cooked iced doughnuts which will of course be ‘BAD ASS’!

Two of the leading drum and bass DJs on the planet will provide the beats for the launch event. First up is Playaz Records legend and original jungle pioneer DJ Hype. He’s been there to witness the music progress from illegal rave to festival stage over the last 30 years so expect a fitting mix of vintage jungle. Joining Hype is Optical, a DJ who (with label co-founder Ed Rush) celebrated the 20 year anniversary of their highly regarded Virus Records imprint this year. MCs 2SHY and IC3 will be on hand to give it that authentic DNB sound. Hold tight!

A comedian will host each brunch and curate the special entertainment including drum and bass ‘rave-offs’, MC Karaoke, themed prize draws and a hot-wing eating contest. A fully choreographed stage and light show will follow amongst other surprises on the day.

Following the launch event, monthly dates have been announced on 28th July with Fabio,  Grooverider and Randall and on 25th August with Commix, Doc Scott, Bailey and LSB.

The dress code is ‘illegal rave’ so dust off your air horns and bucket hats and prepare to be transported back to the early 90s. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and the bar will be fully stocked should rum punch not be to your taste.

Wicked, wicked, Junglist massive!
