Princess Eugenie’s married Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel in Windsor wearing a dress designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos and the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, lent to her by Her Majesty The Queen.

The dress features a neckline that folds around the shoulders to a low back that drapes into a flowing full length train.

British designer Caroline Castigliano, the connoisseur of handcrafted luxury bridal wear comments;

“The Princess looks classic with a contemporary twist. The long sleeves staying in line with Royal tradition, the cuff style neckline and full flowing skirt in a jacquard print has a freshness and simplicity about it.”

She added “Princess Eugenie specifically wanted a gown with a low back to show off the scar on her back left from an operation for scoliosis. The Princess has dedicated a lot of time to raising awareness about the condition and by showing off the scar she makes a statement to change the way beauty is.”

“The simplicity about the gown is definitely on trend. The cuff detailing is very much at the forefront of bridal design today – I am sure elements of the gown will get copied and inspire other young brides in their inspiration for their bridal gown.”
