Abena Oppong-Asare, MP for Erith and Thamesmead, will be hosting her annual campaign summer school between Monday 24 – Wednesday 26 July designed to empower and inspire young people to engage in politics and campaign for change.

The Summer School offers first-hand insight into the exciting world of political campaigning – bringing together the expertise of veteran political activists and partner organisations.

At my jam-packed 3-day summer school, young people will have the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to make a real difference in our community and learn how to make their voice heard in our democracy.

The Summer School programme includes

National tampon tax campaigner, Laura Coryton
Housing campaigner, Kwajo Tweneboa
Katie Perrior, founder and Chair of iNHouse Communications and Former Director of Communications to Theresa May at No.10 Downing Street
Leader of Greenwich Council, Councillor Anthony Okereke
Christine Quigley, Director of Public Relations at Grayling UK
