Smitten Collard reveals he believes Laura Woods is his soul mate. The two time Love Islander has finally found ‘the real deal’;
Adam Collard: “I wouldn’t get in a relationship with someone that I didn’t feel like it could last forever. For someone who has the reputation of playing the most games (because of Love Island), I’m honestly heart on my sleeve and I can’t fake anything.
If something’s wrong with me, you know about it. I’ve had 10 million girlfriends (according to the Sun and the Daily Mail). I’ve even discovered some myself there {joking}
But Laura, she is the real deal. And I’m taking it easy. I’m older, I’m wiser, she’s got her own stuff going on. It’s working and I’m enjoying it.”
I’m Glad I Didn’t Meet Laura On Love Island
Meeting many of his previous relationships through reality shows such as Love Island & Celebs Go Dating, Collard was glad to not follow the same pattern with Laura;
Adam Collard: “{the biggest difference between Laura & my exes?} Probably that I’ve not met her on Love Island! {joking}
You can’t have a casual day in my life – it instantly turns into being a girlfriend because we’ve been spotted somewhere and that is the problem. With the media, it is a lot of pressure. Hypothetically, if I went out with someone tonight and got spotted, they are instantly in a relationship with me.
I also think that you have to be settled within yourself, and I’m definitely the most confident I’ve ever been with everything I’m doing right now. I’m not doing things because of the pressures of TV or social media.”
Wooing Laura Was My ‘Worst Game Ever’ But It Feels ‘More Genuine’
Known as quite the Casinova in the celebrity dating scene, the usually smooth talker Collard divulged to us that his chat up game for Laura was ‘the worst ever’;
Adam Collard: “{first meeting Laura} was probably my worst game ever. Probably the least smooth I’ve ever been, but then again, that’s why it feels a lot more genuine.
The funniest part about the story is that I walked past Laura the first time I met her, and didn’t actually know her by name. I think because it was like that and because there were no preconceived notions or pressure, that’s why it works. I’m just Adam. She’s just Laura.”
Laura Whisked Me Away To Paris For Secret Birthday Surprise
Laura recently swept Adam away for a birthday getaway, which turned out to be in the city of Love. Adam makes out it was done in a way that only the pair would understand;
Adam Collard: “Laura got me a pretty sentimental present {for Adam’s birthday}. We’re having a few days away. She revealed it in such a sweet way and it was something that only me and her would understand.”
