Caravan parks tycoon Alfie Best has come a long way since being born on the side of a road in Leceister.

Whilst he was voted the 48th most influential person in 2018’s Essex Power 100 list, this week Best ranked at number 11 in Leicestershire’s Rich-list – moving up four positions from last year with his net worth almost doubling as he is now reportedly worth £250m!

Discussing the expeditious growth of Wyldecrest Parks, Alfie told me “It is like seeing a child grow from strength to strength, making you proud along the way”

Alfie discussing the growth adds “Wyldecrest is improving people’s lives both customers and team”

Earlier this year Alfie announced plans to take Wyldecrest Parks public, I asked him what he hopes this move will achieve: “by Wyldecrest going public this will allow us to grow even faster than we are at present, benefiting all involved” Alfie said.

I asked Alfie what advice he could offer to young Londoners who are starting out in the
world of business and he said “Follow your dream, Don’t Chase Money – Chase The Business, a cause with a purpose that makes a difference.”

Alfie added “You don’t have to reinvent the world, just make a difference and success will follow”

His words have inspired many young entrepreneurs, such as Stefan, the owner of Number One Carpet Cleaning (NOCC). As Stefan is saying, Alfie`s advice has changed the way he approaches his business.
