Shoppers in London can enjoy free South Asian sweet samples and family fun this weekend, as this iconic high street sweet shop throws a UK-wide summer party.
Ambala, one of the UK’s most established South Asian sweets brands, known for traditional mithai, is inviting customers to visit their local store on Saturday 4 July for a summer sampling day.
From 12pm to 3pm, visitors to Ambala’s London stores will be able to enjoy sweet and savoury free samples while stocks last, including a brand-new product, Khoye ki Barfi, made of 100% buffalo milk.
Plus, all day, anyone who spends over £20 in-store can get 2 savouries for free, including the new range of samosas, spring rolls, and pakoras. With family-friendly fun in store, it’s an easy summer weekend activity for families, friends and anyone looking for a sweet treat.
With more than 30 stores nationwide, the event gives shoppers the chance to try Ambala’s authentic mithai, discover traditional favourites and pick up something special for weddings, festivals, family gatherings or last-minute gifts.
Sukh Chamdal, Ambala’s CEO, said: “Summer is all about bringing people together, and food plays such an important role in those shared moments. We wanted to give customers a reason to visit their local Ambala, enjoy something sweet on us and experience the mithai that has been part of celebrations for generations.
“From weddings and festivals to thoughtful gifts and everyday treats, our stores have always played a role in helping people mark meaningful moments. This summer event is a chance to thank our customers and welcome new shoppers through our doors.”
