Anna Kennedy OBE records her first autism session in 2019 for Sky TV

Anna Kennedy OBE recorded her first Autism session of 2019 on the only Mental Health and Well Being Chat Show ‘Chrissy B’ on Sky TV.

Anna is the regular autism correspondent for the show and her invited guest this month was Managing Director Glen Knight Founder of Training 2 Care UK.

Anna Kennedy was first introduced to the companies  ‘Autism Reality Experience’ 3 years ago at Brunel University ,Uxbridge at the charities Autism Expo.

The Autism Reality Experience is an innovative, hands on training session which has been developed to give people an experience of the sensory processing difficulties faced by people on the autism spectrum.  Simulation training has been proven to be a highly effective way to engage people in learning and not only do they come away from the training having learned new skills and techniques, the experience and what they learn from it stays with them.

The experience is fully immersive, interactive and a must for anyone who is involved in supporting people on the autism spectrum.

Anna Kennedy founder of UK Autism Services and national charity AnnaKennedyonline is proud to be in colloboration with The Autism Reality Experience.

Mrs Kennedy shares that the experience provides members of the public and professionals with some insight of the sensory overload experienced by people with conditions on the autistic spectrum, and hopefully will change the way they think about autism.

Anna And Glen’s interview can be viewed on Monday February 28th on Sky TV 119 at 10pm.
