Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a shooting in east London.
Police were called at 07:37hrs on Wednesday, 14 October to reports of a shooting on White Hart Lane in Romford.
Officers attended and found a man, aged in his mid-30s, with a gunshot injury to his leg.
He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital for treatment; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A crime scene remains in place.
Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
They would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious.
At this early stage, there have been no arrests. Enquiries to establish a motive for the shooting continue.
