Applications now open for Chief Taster at this year’s Taste of London

The annual quest for London’s best dish will commence this June, as part ofTaste of London’s ‘Best in Taste’ awards. This year, the iconic food festival is on the hunt for a final taster to join some of the city’s biggest names in food, including Barbecue cookbook author & chief Taste fire starter DJ BBQ and renowned pastry chef Dominique Ansel, to spend a full day sampling each of the hundreds of dishes on offer before the festival opens to the public.

With categories including Most Instagrammable Dish, plus the highly anticipated ‘Best in Taste’ award, the tasting panel will split into two teams in order to tackle the culinary ‘course’ and crown winners in each category.

The restaurants involved in this summer’s Taste of London will be serving up signature dishes which include some brand-new offerings exclusive to the festival.

Flesh & Buns will debut a salmon Ceviche with avocado, red onion, red chilli, aji amarillo tigers milk, served with Mio Sparkling Sake (DF)in London, Sri Lankan favourite Hoppers will create a 42 Hour Roast Elumas Roti especially for the event, while Italian eatery Sartoria will be serving Fettuccine Cacio Pepe with Truffle, exclusive to Taste of London.
