APPRENTICE star Tim Campbell has praised the show’s all-female finale this week as a landmark in the show’s history.

Campbell also revealed that feared boardroom aide Claude Littner would be making a surprise appearance in the final episode.

Campbell said: “We’ve broken records and really engaged a youthful audience, and people are really interested in the fact that in a time when there are lots of conversations about inclusion, we have an all-female final.

“That is an amazing testament to one the candidates themselves, also how far along we’ve come in terms of women in business and actually the aspirations they have and how inspiring they are to the next generation. of female founders.”

Campbell made his comments during an appearance on the GB News breakfast show with Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster this morning (17 March).

He won the first series of the show and has been standing in for Claude Littner who has been recovering from serious injuries sustained in a cycling accident.

Campbell, however, revealed that Littner would be making a surprise appearance in the final episode, where he usually grills the final candidates in gruelling interviews.

“This is usually the highlight for most people on The Apprentice because this is the interviews where you’re going to get the candidates business plans, interrogated by Lord sugar’s aides so they’ve come along to hear about these massive magical pitches that these candidates have before potentially getting the quarter of a million pound investment from Lord sugar himself.

“From my perspective, it’s been great and a great privilege to be able to sit next to Lord Sugar and Lady Brady, seeing the potential, great candidates who have grown across the series.

“And really, it was showing that in the British culture, it’s really important to think about how you can better yourself from hard work and endeavours.”
