Game on! London’s newest immersive entertainment destination, Arcade Arena, celebrated its much-awaited arrival on the South Bank with an action-packed launch, as guests became the first to step inside its larger-than-life gaming worlds.
Stepping straight into cinematic environments and live action gameplay, guests swapped controllers and screens
for some serious cutting-edge competition as they raced, chased and battled their way through Arcade Arena’s three blockbuster experiences: PAC-MAN Live Experience, Chaos Karts and the brand-new Alien Invasion.
Among those putting their gaming skills to the test on the night were Princess Andre, Casey O’Gorman, Sanam
Harrinanan and Harrison Solomon, alongside a host of creators and social personalities.
Princess and Casey teamed up to battle alien dangers in Alien Invasion, whilst Harrison and Sanam joined
to go head-to-head behind the wheels of Chaos Karts in a night filled with thrills and high-tech adventure.
The celebrations marked the official arrival of one of London’s most ambitious new immersive entertainment
venues. Created by the award-winning team behind The Crystal Maze Experience, Arcade Arena transforms the familiar thrill of video gaming into huge physical adventures, combining state-of-the-art technology, stunning visual landscapes and fast paced gameplay.
Guests to the launch were let loose inside the PAC-MAN Live Experience, which transforms one of the world’s
most recognisable arcade games into a real-life challenge. Players become PAC-MAN themselves, racing through an illuminated maze to collect power while attempting to avoid the GHOSTS and beat the clock.
The competition then moved onto the track with Chaos Karts, where real electric karts meet immersive digital
projection technology. Guests raced through constantly changing virtual worlds filled with power-ups, hazards and surprises, bringing all the chaos of a multiplayer racing game into the real world, without the need for headsets or screens.
And for those brave enough, the night offered a first taste of Alien Invasion, the new immersive adventure
making its debut at Arcade Arena London. Recruited as Cosmic Cadets, guests were tasked with saving Planet Earth from an extraterrestrial threat in a pulse-racing adventure packed with cinematic technology, real life alien druids and high-energy gameplay.

the incredible worlds you’d normally only experience through a screen, and bringing PAC-MAN Live Experience, Chaos Karts and Alien Invasion together under one roof creates something completely unique for London. We can’t wait for everyone to come and play.”
Already a huge success in Manchester, Arcade Arena London is the company’s biggest venue yet, bringing multiple
gigantic gaming Arenas together in one neon-lit playground on the South Bank.
Whether dodging GHOSTS in PAC-MAN Live Experience, drifting around digital racetracks in Chaos Karts or battling
extraterrestrial forces in Alien Invasion, visitors can now step off the sidelines and become the player themselves.
London’s entertainment scene is about to level up as Arcade Arena London officially opens its doors on Saturday
