ARK Living known for delivering beautifully designed, vibrant, community-led co-living and student properties in London, is set to launch its third co-living property in Shoreditch this August, with showrooms available to view now.
The new Shoreditch location will introduce 194 new rooms across six floors, offering flexible membership agreements with long-stay licenses ranging from 3 – 12 months, and short-stay options for 1 – 89 nights with dynamic nightly pricing. The members’ agreements offer competitive, all-in-one bills that include rent, utilities and council tax, Wi-Fi, cleaning and access to all shared facilities.
ARK Shoreditch will boast four studio types with prices starting from £1,799 as an introductory offer on selected rooms (based on a 12-month agreement). There will be 162 studios designed for longer stays and 32 for short stay. The rooms available will range from Cosy Studios – approx. 17 sqm, Comfy Studios – approx. 19 sqm, Roomy Studios and Corner Studios – approx. 21 sqm and Urban Studios – approx. 25.5 sqm.
The serviced rooms are complete with large ensuite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchenettes, comfortable double beds, and a TV. With connectivity and community being key pillars of ARK spaces, members at ARK Shoreditch will benefit from a packed events schedule and shared amenities including large kitchens, an internal serene garden, karaoke rooms, a fully equipped gym and yoga room, a cinema and a playroom.
Differing from the brand’s other co-living properties, in Canary Wharf and Wembley, the new location’s short-stay rooms have been designed as a typical hotel room with no kitchenettes. The new offering attracts short-term guests looking to build connections by cooking with other visitors during their visit.
Considering sustainability, the refurbishment has prioritised restoration and up-cycling where possible, maintaining many of the pre-existing furnishings.
ARK Shoreditch is perfectly situated in the heart of East London, within walking distance from iconic areas such as Broadway Market, Columbia Road and London Fields. The property offers members an ideal base in the city, with strong transport connections via Cambridge Heath overground and Bethnal Green tube stations. Other nearby hot spots include Hackney City Farm, Haggerston Park, Regents Canal and Victoria Park.
Owned and operated by Crosstree Real Estate and led by Robert Alam, Managing Director at ARK Living, the current portfolio includes properties in Wembley and Canary Wharf. Alam joined ARK in 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience across hotels, hospitality, leisure, SME, co-living and corporate sectors. In addition to its co-living portfolio, ARK Living is set to launch student accommodations across the city, with the first location set to open in Canning Town, ready for the 26/27 academic year.
