The new site opens this spring and is perfectly equipped to cater for changes to the future of living and working practises beyond the pandemic, while uniquely offering a 100% contactless self storage service.
Attic has seen a rise in business leaders and entrepreneurs swapping costly office rentals and co-working space for safe and secure self storage units. Benefits include the storing of files, office equipment and for eCommerce businesses to store their stock. In response, Attic Self Storage has chosen to incorporate work pods into its new facility in Harrow. The numerous work pods will offer a convenient space for customers to work away from the storage units themselves with access to wifi, plugs for laptops and access to a printer and coffee as well as the opportunity to interact with other businesses.
Also, with many Brits continuing to work from home, 59% say they will be making home improvements in 2021 to adapt their homes. This includes over 1 in 5 (22%) Brits who need more storage space* following the global crisis.
Each unit is secured with a keyless electronic lock which customers can control via an app. Customers can receive notifications on their app every time their unit is opened, and can delegate access to friends, family or colleagues when needed, providing a convenient and flexible storage solution.
