An Autism’s Got Talent star has been making the most of his bank holiday weekend by arranging a FOUR day fundraiser set to benefit Dorset Mind.
16year old Calvin Billington Glen, has a diagnosis of autism. He first performed for the popular Autism’s Got Talent and this led on to various other charity performances.
The talented young singer has organised a 4-day fundraising event in Bournemouth supported by his mum Marie for two charities that are close to his heart, Dorset Mind and UK Autism charity AnnaKennedyonline.
Charity founder Anna Kennedy OBE told us “I nominated Calvin for the Diana Award and I am pleased to say he will be presented the award in central London in October.”
She added “He loves Elvis and is a very talented young man. Calvin also sang on our Charity Single Building Bridges launched at the Hard Rock Cafe earlier this year.”
Calvin is one of the performers earmarked to perform at the Autism’s got Talent Roadshow alongside many talented performers on the autism spectrum on October 14th at Towngate Theatre Basildon.
Auditions are now open for the 7th Autism’s got Talent next year in London more information is available here : www.annakennedyonline.com
