Beckham-Favourite Miami Taco Spot Lands in London with Hundreds of Free Tacos This June

Miami’s Iconic Coyo Taco is popping up in East London on June 3rd, giving UK fans the first-ever taste of the cult taco spot and giving out hundreds of tacos and frozen margaritas for FREE at Hoxton Arches, on Cremer Street.

The event kicks off at 6pm until 9pm (or while stocks last). Taco fans can expect tortillas hand pressed to order, just like they do in Coyoacan, fresh beats with a live session DJ and ice-cold frozen margaritas.

Following the restaurant’s announcement last month that they will be opening their doors in The Broadway, St James’ Park, the brand is bringing their “todo es fresco” philosophy – meaning everything fresh – to Hoxton Arches for a one-day only pop-up before the official launch. Be quick if you want to get a taste of Coyo Taco before ANYONE else.

Coyo Taco will be hand pressing their iconic tacos on site and dipping them in a slow-cooked broth, filling them with tender beef, white onion and coriander with a squeeze of lime – then finishing them off with a classic melted cheese crust to create their iconic beef birria.

For the veggies, they’ll be filled with grilled cauliflower in a rich pumpkin mole, served in a cheese-crusted flour tortilla with a hard, salty aged cheese, pickled onion and avocado.

Both tacos will be served up with Coyo Taco’s delicious frozen margaritas, while a DJ keeps the Miami vibes flowing.

Founded by Coyoacan native, Alan Drummond alongside Sven Vogtland and chef Scott Linquist in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood neighbourhood, Coyo Taco offers a real taste of Mexico combined with Miami’s strong art and music culture and soon it will be landing right in the heart of London.

Coyo Taco is opening its first UK location this June, with 50 more stores planned nationwide.
