Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards announces new feel-good festival STRETCH

This Autumn, Eccleston Yards, the stunning outdoor courtyard in the central London neighbourhood of Belgravia, will host a brand new wellness festival, STRETCH, throughout the month of September. From 1 September – 2 October, STRETCH will celebrate the mindfulness and wellbeing benefits of enjoying the great outdoors during an Indian Summer in London with an exciting schedule of talks, workshops and classes to move your body, stimulate your mind and soothe your soul.

The ticketed event will tap into the wellness trends that have soared in popularity this year from talking therapy to mindful painting, all encouraging visitors to take a moment to relax and unwind.

One of Belgravia’s longstanding luxury florists, Moyses Stevens will host a floral therapy masterclass where guests will create a wild and whimsical jar of flowers with an eclectic combination of mood boosting flowers and foliages. Visitors will be given the opportunity to improve their marathon technique with Run and Become, take part in a one-to-one talking therapy session with Augmentive, exclusively in Eccleston Yards. Plus, mindful art studio, MasterPeace will host special outdoor painting experiences in the courtyard.

Wellness enthusiasts will also get to hear enlightening talks on topics related to motivation and gut health from special guest speakers, leading health professional, international TEDx speaker and podcast host Adrienne Herbert (@adrienne_ldn) as well as best-selling author and yoga teacher Madeleine Shaw (@madeleine_shaw_). Guests can also take part in an energising low-impact yoga session hosted by Madeleine, with mats provided.

For the final weekend of STRETCH, Eccleston Yards will host In Your Element festival on Sunday 2 October. A day dedicated to women’s health, the wellness festival will bring together a like-minded community to enjoy energetic exercise classes, inspiring workshops and relaxing meditations.

· Moyses Stevens’ Feel-Good Flower Workshop
Thursday 1 September, 5pm-5.45pm or Saturday 1 October, 5pm-5.45pm
Discover the immersive delights of flowers and indulge your senses with colour, fragrance and the tactile experience of working with nature. Expect a hands-on workshop filled with useful tips on flower care, conditioning and learn how to maximise the life and visual impact of your flowers. At the end of the session, flowers will be combined to create a gorgeous table placement styled with the addition of candlelight for the perfect Instagram moment.
· Nutrition Advice with Zooki

Friday 2 September, 10am-7pm

Relax, unwind and soak up the sun at this alfresco paining experience. Select from 10 different painting kits on arrival to complete a stunning acrylic painting.
· Marathon Training with Run and Become

Monday 5 September, 6pm-7pm
Get prepared for race day! All running levels from beginner to elite and welcome to join the session. If you’re stiff and sore from your marathon training or want to improve your running technique, make sure to join Run and Become to try a range of mobility exercises and running drills.

· Run Higher Collective Running Club

Every Wednesday from 7-28 September, 6.45pm-8pm
Run Higher Collective is an inclusive running community welcoming all walks of life into the world of running and making information from coaches accessible to everyday athletes. The session will include a mobility warm-up, short interval running and a cool down and stretch.
· Wellbeing and Motivation with Adrienne Herbert

Learn how to work more mindfully with Adrienne’s talk on working habits. Get some top tips on how to achieve whilst taking care to instil great mindful practices.
· Balance & Brush with MasterPeace

Don’t miss this yoga and painting special hostel by Bianca Butler, mindfulness coach and yoga instructor, and MasterPeace founder Zena El Farra.
· Lunch with The Simple Root
